Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan said the daily market was set up by Kuala Lumpur City Hall to allow residents to supplement their groceries in addition to those being provided by the Welfare Department.
Fresh produce like vegetables, fish and chicken as well as dry goods are also available for purchase. Another resident Menaga Muneynty hoped there would be an option for residents to pay online as they did not have enough cash in hand.
