Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) took action by confiscating electric scooters that had been left in public spaces and obstructing pathways around the city.

In a Facebook post shared by DBKL, it was revealed that the confiscation was carried out by the Enforcement Department, following regulations under the Streets, Drains, and Buildings Act 1974.DBKL assured the public that they will keep taking action and regularly monitor the situation to ensure the safety and convenience of city residents, visitors, and tourists.“We carried out a special operation involving electric scooters left in public spaces around Kuala Lumpur.

“All seized items were taken to the Seized Goods Storage at Jalan Lombong, Taman Miharja Cheras, for recording and documentation.
