SHARE: Police are searching for 18-year-old Riley O'Connell. Hilliard police said she was last seen in the area of 5400 Scioto Darby Road.
The daughter of a Massachusetts mayor was reported missing after leaving a treatment center in Hilliard.that she is the daughter of Taunton Mayor Shaunna O'Connell.
The mayor reportedly said O'Connell "went missing from the Evoke Wellness facility in Ohio where she has been receiving therapy for over a month in her long-term battle with mental health issues." Hilliard police said she was last seen in the area of 5400 Scioto Darby Road at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday wearing black shorts and a pink shirt.Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
"Ted and I are devastated and extremely worried about her safety and well-being," her mother said. "We are working with the facility, police and missing persons to find her as soon as possible to bring her home. We are praying for Riley's safe return.
