‘Datuk Roy’, MACC officer claim trial in Jana Wibawa-linked case FMTNews

Businessman Hussein Nasir and MACC officer Rasyidi Said being brought to the sessions court in Kuala Lumpur today.

Hussein Nasir, commonly referred to as “Datuk Roy”, and MACC officer Rasyidi Said were jointly accused of soliciting the amount from a Siti Dalena Berhan as an inducement for MACC not to remand a person known as Fakhri Yassin Mahiaddin in a corruption investigation.The offences were alleged to have taken place here between February and March.

If found guilty on the joint charges, Hussein and Rasyidi will face a jail term of up to 20 years and a fine not less than five times the alleged bribe.
