Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) has appointed Datuk Ibrahim Baki as its new chairman, effective October 1st. Ibrahim brings over three decades of experience across various industries and replaces Abdul Hamed who led the company's transformation into a leading regional player in renewable energy.
KUCHING: Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki has been appointed the new chairman of Sarawak Energy Bhd effective Oct 1."Ibrahim brings over three decades of experience across industries such as property development, shipping and media," SEB said in a statement on Thursday .
"Under his leadership, Sarawak Energy expanded from a traditional utility with 2,042 employees and a generation capacity of 849MW in 2005 to over 6,000 employees and a capacity of 5,745MW today.
