‘Dato Malik’ arrested by MACC FMTNews FMTEng
A source said Abdul Malik Dasthigeer was detained under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.
PETALING JAYA: Abdul Malik Dasthigeer, or more commonly known as “Dato Malik”, has been detained by the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission . A source close to the individual said he was detained earlier this morning under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 .A source from MACC also confirmed the matter, saying Abdul is being questioned by the anti-graft agency’s officers.
