The premiere of Daryl Dixon's spinoff revealed new characters who will play a crucial role in upcoming episodes, including Codron, a hardened soldier determined to hunt Daryl down for the murder of his brother.

There are many more instances in other spinoffs too, but Daryl Dixon now has his own villain who has the determination to find and kill him, no matter what it takes.
Codron and Josiah are shown to be ruthless killers who seek revenge for the death of their brothers. Daryl Dixon's new Walking Dead villain seems to be less forgiving since he is part of a merciless group called the Guerriers, translated to "Warriors." However, both characters endured grief that fueled their anger and made them more motivated to hunt down the murderer.
There's no telling what Codron will do in upcoming episodes and what his plans are for Daryl.
