Teo Nie Ching, DAP Wanita chief and Deputy Communications Minister, emphasized the importance of voting in the upcoming Mahkota state by-election, urging all registered voters to participate. While acknowledging BN's perceived advantage, she stressed that it's a 50-50 decision and called for wise choices.

“Saya tidak akan ambil mudah walaupun mantap jadi saya fikir ini suatu keputusan 50-50. Oleh sebab itu kita perlu minta semua khususnya pengundi luar balik dan buat pilihan yang bijak. Sehubungan itu, Teo berkata mereka akan terus menggiatkan usaha menyantuni pengundi bagi menjelaskan hala tuju kerajaan Persekutuan dan negeri yang banyak melaksanakan pelbagai program dan inisiatif untuk manfaat rakyat.
