SEREMBAN: The DAP's Rahang assemblyman Mary Josephine Prittam Singh has announced her decision to quit the party, but says she will remain pro-Pakatan Harapan.
Mary, 71, a life party member since 1974 and in her second term as Rahang assemblyman, said her decision to quit was not made abruptly."In holding up to the integrity, pride and party image, and also going by and working on the guidelines of principles and discipline instilled in me in the last 46 years as a DAP member, I am faced with challenges to which I cannot take anymore.
"Working and supporting DAP members and leaders in Negri Sembilan has become a very big disappointment, and with a very heavy heart, I am left with no choice but to tender my resignation as a DAP life member and from all party posts," she told reporters at her service centre on Friday . Jospehine said she was also resigning as DAP Wanita national organising secretary, national deputy chief of Pakatan Harapan and state Wanita DAP chief.
