The regular DAP Penang convention is taking place today at the Setia SPICE Arena in Bayan Lepas. The main focus of the convention is the announcement of Chow Kon Yeow's replacement as DAP Penang chairman. While Chow will remain Chief Minister until the end of his term, speculation points towards Steven Sim, Minister of Human Resources, as the potential new leader.
Persoalan mengenai bakal pengganti Pengerusi DAP Pulau Pinang Chow Kon Yeow akan terjawab pada Konvensyen Biasa Negeri DAP Pulau Pinang di sini hari ini.
Konvensyen hari ini turut menjadi hangat apabila terdapat desas-desus mengatakan Menteri Sumber Manusia Steven Sim bakal menerajui DAP Pulau Pinang manakala Timbalan Menteri Kewangan Lim Hui Ying terus berkhidmat sebagai Setiausaha DAP negeri dengan formula “kombinasi Sim–Lim” yang turut dikatakan mendapat restu pemimpin utama parti.
Konvensyen Biasa DAP Pulau Pinang di Pusat Konvensyen Setia SPICE Arena, Bayan Lepas pagi ini bertemakan “Kekal Harapan, Kukuh Perpaduan”.
