DAP grassroots in Sg Pelek protest against ‘outsider’ for state polls FMTNews FMTEng
PETALING JAYA: Several DAP branches in Sepang held a gathering to protest against the prospect of an “outsider” being nominated for the Sungai Pelek seat in the Selangor state elections, a party source said.
“On Thursday, we had a meeting together with the youth and women’s wings, and we agreed to only support a local candidate in Sungai Pelek. Liu, who left the party two days before the dissolution of the state assembly last month, is a one-term Sungai Pelek assemblyman.
