Kelly hasn’t committed to a permanent starter as of yet and has said that he’s going to rotate quarterbacks. Moore was been able to connect with multiple receivers, throwing touchdowns to Brown and later J.Michael Sturdivant against North Carolina Central, Kent State transfer Collin Schlee entered the game with 4:28 remaining in the first quarter and ran for two touchdowns before Moore re-entered in the second quarter. The two combined to help UCLA score the most points in a first quarter since 1988 when the Bruins put up 28 points against Nebraska in the opening frame. By halftime, UCLA was leading 45-0.
Chip Kelly said on Monday that Mokiao-Atimalala was unavailable. He’s yet to play in a game this season.
