Temperatures in Dallas TX rise to the 90s, nearing a record high, after weekend of storms.
The area’s record-high temperature was 95 in 1989, the data says. The record low was 30 degrees two years before that., bringing hail the size of quarters and golf balls, strong wind, and the threat of tornadoes.
The weather service forecast calls for the possibility of some showers and thunderstorms later in the day but otherwise a “hot and breezy” Monday. Temperatures will slowly fall the rest of the week, with a high of 85 Tuesday then highs in the 60s through Friday, the weather service says. There may be showers and storms Tuesday and Thursday.
