Crescent Real Estate is starting a $22 million redo of Uptown Dallas' luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Uptown Dallas’ luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel is getting its biggest makeover ever.
Opened in 2007 just north of downtown, the 218-room property was developed by Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate. It’s one of the highest-rated hospitality properties in Texas. And the owners are about to make it even more opulent.“It is a total $22 million renovation, including the spa, which we just completed,” said Crescent chairman John Goff.
The hotel and upper floors residential condominiums were designed by famed architect Robert A. M. Stern. The Ritz-Carlton last got a $9 million makeover in 2015.A standard double room in the hotel tower will set you back more than $800 a night.Including luxury properties including the J.W. Marriott in downtown Dallas and the new Omni PGA resort in Frisco, more than 20,000 hotel rooms were on the way in the area last year.
