Police said a man was walking about 12:07 a.m. in the 9900 block of Forest Lane when he was struck by a vehicle.Dallas police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run with a pedestrian in far northeast Dallas early Saturday.
The man, who police did not identify, was on his phone and stepped off the sidewalk and into the road when a sedan traveling at a “very high rate of speed” struck him, throwing him into a nearby brick wall, police said. Police described the vehicle as a black 2008-2012 model Honda Accord that will have “extreme damage” to the passenger side, including a missing mirror and damage to the front right headlights.
