Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a “weapons disturbance” in the 400 block of South Forest Crest Drive, police said.A second person who was injured by gunfire went to medical facility without the help of emergency crews, police said. A witness who reported the shooting told investigators that the suspects responsible for the shooting left the area after the incident.
All of the suspects who were involved in the shooting have been identified, Lieutenant Richard Maldonado, a spokesman for the Garland Police Department said in an email..
