Ashland Greene Capital acquired the rental communities located in Mesquite and the Fort Worth area.
“These deliberately selected properties are each positioned in prime locations with proximity to major employment and entertainment hot spots,” Ashland Greene officials said in announcing the purchase. “This acquisition expands the continuously growing Ashland Greene Capital portfolio to 4,900-plus units across D-FW."
“This will be rebranded Holbrook and will undergo an extensive rehab with 70% of the units being rehabbed,” Shakti C’Ganti, Ashland Greene’s founder and CEO, said in an email. “We are excited to own another asset in Mesquite, which is a chronically undersupplied submarket with strong nearby demand-drivers including UPS, Amazon, FedEx and the Intermodal Railway.”
Also, in White Settlement near Fort Worth, Ashland Greene purchased the 255-unit Gold Creek apartments built in 2017. Founded in 2010, Ashland Greene now owns apartments in Dallas-Fort Worth, Denton and the Houston area.The D-FW area leads the country in apartment investment, with $8.2 billion in sales volume through April, according to a report from Colliers International.
