Dallas-area apartment rents in November were down about 1% from October, according to a new report from Apartment List.
With leasing activity slowing, Dallas area apartment residents are starting to get a break.And North Texas has seen some of the biggest rent increases in the country since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even with November’s decline, Dallas median rent “has now increased by a total of 8.3% over the past 12 months,” Apartment List analysts said. “Dallas’ rent growth over the past year has outpaced both state and national averages.”“Our national index fell by 1% over the course of November, marking the third straight month-over-month decline, and the largest single month dip in the history of our index, going back to 2017,” Apartment List analysts said.
