Steven Lowry has previously been convicted for crashing a car into a bus and battering his ex partner

On Sunday April 16, Steven Lowry, 38, from Noctorum, was at a nightclub on Market Street in Birkenhead when either he, or his victim Daniel Fell, bumped into the other in the bathrooms. Lowry was aggravated, however the pair managed to talk it over and after the victim even bought him a drink which they drank at the bar.

The dad-of-three appeared for sentencing today via videolink from HMP Altcourse, wearing a grey North Face jacket, after previously pleading guilty to wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm. Lowry has previous convictions for battering an ex-girlfriend. "As a consequence he suffered a number of injuries to his face, which required treatment. One of them causing a fractured cheekbone which he still suffers from to this day.
