Pranisha Rama, an auditing, governance and ethics lecturer and cyber security education specialist at the University of Johannesburg, will be speaking at The Forum in Bryanston on 20 February 2025 about cyber security awareness. She will highlight the importance of informed decision-making, risk management , compliance and incident response in building a culture of cyber security awareness.
Rama believes that cyber security awareness begins at the top of an organization but needs to be made accessible and engaging for all employees. She emphasizes that technology drives our world, and with it comes cyber security risks. Effective governance and cyber security awareness are crucial for managing these risks, especially in today's digital landscape where data security is paramount
