The Cupra DarkRebel Concept is painted in a dark shade of violet with various copper accents
looked at the more than 270,000 configurations created by its fans online after the DarkRebel’s digital debut earlier this year. The eye-catching elements of the concept start at the front end with an illuminated Cupra badge sitting alongside a pointed nose and triangular light signatures. Adorning all of the exterior bodywork is a unique shade of dark violet.
The front bumper is particularly striking with sharp and dramatic lines that give the concept a sinister look, as if it’s about to devour every other EV out there.has created similarly dramatic wheels with a combination of black spokes, copper accents, and see-through elements that provide a view of the brake calipers.
A lot of time and effort has also been spent on the car’s interior. It is dominated by a central spine made using 3D metal printing technology that provides structural performance and also looks really cool. Cupra has also equipped the concept with Supersport bucket seats with headrests bathed in 3D knitting fabric as well as a crystal shifter poking out of the central spine.
Cupra has also equipped the concept with a new UI, ambient lighting, and a particularly bold steering wheel that lacks a section of rim at its base. The car manufacturer has not said if the DarkRebel concept will spawn a road-going model that’s actually available to purchase.
