The Cumberland County Department of Public Safety will hold its fifth 9-1-1 summer fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in conjunction with the Carlisle Summer Fair.The event gives residents the opportunity to meet their local first responders, officials from county departments, and representatives from local nonprofits, a press release said.
It will include K-9 demonstrations, helicopter landings from Life Lion and the Pa. State Police, a vehicle extrication demo from Carlisle Fire & Rescue, other county departments, nonprofits and food trucks.
