The charges stem from Aug. 29 when officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck near the intersection of S. Hanover and E. South Streets. The victim was reportedly struck as she was crossing the street at a crosswalk; she was transported to the hospital but was later pronounced dead as a result of her injuries.
