Cuepacs minta gaji minimum penjawat awam RM1,800
KONGRES Kesatuan Pekerja-Pekerja Di Dalam Perkhidmatan Awam mencadangkan supaya skim gaji minimum penjawat awam dinaikkan daripada RM1,200 kepada RM1,800 selaras dengan Rancangan Malaysia Ke-12 yang bermatlamat menjadikan masyarakat negara berpendapatan tinggi menjelang 2025.
“Bagaimanapun, sekiranya kerajaan tidak mampu, boleh dinaikkan hingga RM1,500 kerana kerajaan telah pun bersetuju untuk melaksanakan gaji minimum sektor swasta sebanyak RM1,500,” katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama. “Kerajaan juga boleh melihat kepada kenaikan elaun yang sedia ada sekiranya tidak mahu menaikkan yang pokok. Bagi kami yang bujang boleh cukup makan, namun bagi mereka yang sudah berumahtangga sememangnya terkesan.
