The Colorado State Patrol is investigating three separate crashes that left three people dead in the greater Denver metro area Friday night and into early Saturday morning
Drugs and alcohol are suspected in at least two of the crashes that involved a single vehicle in each incident in Jefferson, Weld and Adams counties.
CSP said a pedestrian was struck and killed by a passing motorcycle. The person on the motorcycle was seriously injured. His passenger, a 24-year-old man from Glendale, sustained minor injuries. Troopers said he was wearing a seatbelt.
