Cops are looking for the pair of crooks they say struck a 69-year-old man over the head with a cane before robbing him inside of an East Harlem subway station on Memorial Day.
Authorities say the victim entered the East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station at around 7 p.m. on Monday, May 29, when he was approached from behind by two unknown men. Police say the two individuals struck the victim in the head with a cane before swiping his cell phone and fleeing the station.The first suspect is described by police as a 5’10” tall, 180 pound man with a dark complexion, a thin build and a beard.
The second suspect is described by police as a man with a dark complexion, a thin build and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a black t-shirt and black pants.
