The Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) is collaborating with the Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Ministry (Kuskop) to address the issue of low participation of bumiputera companies in the manufacturing sector. The lack of access to financing facilities for bumiputera companies and SMEs is identified as one of the main challenges. The New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 has allocated funds to strengthen local companies.
