Boats from several fire departments in the region are searching the creek and creekbanks.
Volunteers from Dauphin County fire companies and others were searching in and along the Swatara Creek for a man who was reported floating or canoeing in the water sometime between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Wednesday.
He reportedly went into the creek at the Swatara Shores mobile home park off Vine Street in Lower Swatara Township.Boats from several fire departments in the region are searching the creek on a stretch that includes Lower Swatara Township, Londonderry Township and Middletown. Crews are also checking the creekbanks.This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
