Peta Credlin has unleashed on former Morrison government minister Ken Wyatt, accusing him of joining the 'cavalcade of embittered former Liberals' for 'denouncing the party' that put them into Parliament.

Mr Wyatt spent 12 years as a Liberal MP for the Western Australian seat of Hasluck, including three years as Minister for Indigenous Australians under the Morrison government.

“Wyatt has joined the cavalcade of embittered former Liberals, led by Malcolm Turnbull, of course, denouncing the party that they now have no further use for,” Credlin said.“Especially when, like Wyatt, their complaint is that the Party has had the temerity to disagree with them.” Central to his criticism was the party’s position on the Indigenous Voice to Parliament – the issue the led him to quit the party.

Sky News host Peta Credlin said Mr Wyatt's position on the Voice was more out of touch than the Liberal Party's. Picture: Sky News Australia

‘It’s about the vibe’: Woke businesses’ colossal donations to the Voice‘It’s about the vibe’: Woke businesses’ colossal donations to the VoiceThe Yes campaign for a Voice to Parliament might be in trouble, but it hasn’t stopped the “woke public companies” pouring in millions of dollars in support of the cause, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin. “The companies that are putting in their shareholders’ money still can’t give a coherent argument as to why one group of Australians should have a special say on how we’re governed ahead of everyone else,” Ms Credlin said. “For them, as for the government, it’s about the vibe and no doubt too, the weight of the union super funds as institutional shareholders, who, more and more, are telling companies what to do, in Labor’s best interests and not necessarily the best interest of the company. “It’s why more than ever this Voice must be defeated.”
