GEORGE TOWN: Just when you think the burger cannot get any better, Penang’s food experts take it to the next level.
Six street burger masters became the highlight of the Penang International Food Festival with their mouthwatering creations.
“Our popular dish is the fried chicken burger. To keep up with the latest trends, we overload it with cheese,” said Najib, who started his burger business seven years ago. The two-day event, which takes place along Beach Street, Bishop Street, Church Street and Church Street Ghaut, ends today. It is held from 5pm to 11pm.
“We would like to experience Malaysian culture and taste all the good food here,” said Johanna, who is a hospital manager.
