Chicago police are warning of ruse burglaries on Melvina, Patterson and Kilbourn on the Northwest Side.
They're reminding people not to let anyone inside without proper identification, and, when in doubt, call the police.- 4700-block of North Melvina Avenue at 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 29- 5100-block of West Patterson Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. Dec.
Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call the Bureau of Detectives - Area Five at 746-7394.
