Jets QB Zach Wilson was harshly criticized by NBC analyst
Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys didn't think Rodney Harrison's criticism of Jets' Zach Wilson was fair. . The former two-time All-Pro defensive back referred to Wilson as “garbage” and insisted that he wasn’t “special” while interviewing Chiefs tackle. “Everyone deserves a chance to be better. Even me, I’m not the one to decide who’s special and who’s not special. Zach Wilson is special in his own way. You can’t sit here and say you look at the tape and he’s garbage.
“Come on, Rodney, you didn’t even do that. You can say he’s not on Mahomes tier... but you can’t say that he’s not a good quarterback. He’s a starting quarterback in the NFL. And Rodney, if you can show me you can do it, then you do it if you’re so good.” Parsons’ comments came before we learned via Jets coach Robert Saleh, who hinted that Harrison apologized for his comments about Wilson on NBC’s postgame show. Saleh said Harrison “handled everything the right way,” called him “a good man,” and said his comments are “water under the bridge,”Wilson completed 28 of 39 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns, producing the best single-game passer rating of his career, 105.2, on Sunday.
