Saturday ahead of the game against the Jaguars game Sunday. Smith participated in his first padded practice Thursday, but at right tackle — he hadn’t played that position since his rookie year in 2011. Center Brock Hoffman will also be elevated from practice squad.
It is official: Cowboys OT Tyron Smith to make his season debut Sunday at Jaguars. He’ll be activated today from injured reserve, a person familiar with move said. Smith injured hamstring Aug. 24. C Brock Hoffman also will be elevated from practice squad.
