PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 3,410 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (May 12), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 3,405 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 5 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,470,471 cases since the pandemic began. A total of 4 deaths were recorded on Thursday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,602.
