PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 259 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (Feb 11), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 254 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 5 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,039,326 cases since the pandemic began. A total of 1 death was recorded on Saturday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,951.
