PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 207 new Covid-19 infections on Sunday (Feb 26), says the Health Ministry.
The Health Ministry said through data released on its KKMNow portal on Monday that this brings the new total to 5,042,395 cases since the pandemic began.The ministry also said through its KKMNow portal that there were 175 recoveries on Sunday bringing the total number of active cases in Malaysia to 9,206.
Of the active cases, 96.4% or 8,871 individuals are undergoing home quarantine, while 3.5% of active cases or 325 individuals need to be hospitalised, with 10 warded in intensive care units throughout the country.
