PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia’s Covid-19 cases have breached the 4,000 mark, following the Health Ministry's announcement on Wednesday (April 8) of another 156 positive cases, taking the country’s tally to 4,119.
The country also reported two new deaths, which brings the Covid-19 death toll in Malaysia to 65 cases.
The country also recorded more recoveries than new infections on Wednesday, with 166 patients discharged as of 12pm.The rate of Covid-19 recovery in Malaysia is 36% out of the total number of positive cases. On the latest Covid-19 deaths, the 64th fatality is a Malaysian female, aged 58. She had a history of diabetes and high blood pressure and was admitted to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban. She died on April 7,3.20pm.
