Covid 19: Subang Jaya Medical Centre reopens emergency room

CORONAVIRUS | Disinfection conducted at the emergency room after three cases of Covid-19 reported at the hospital.

Subang Jaya Medical Centre temporarily closed its emergency room to perform a thorough and extensive terminal cleaning and disinfection after three cases of Covid-19 were reported at the hospital.RSDH today confirmed that one of its hospitals, SJMC, has reported three cases of Covid-19.

The first two cases were treated at SJMC’s ER department and the third case was a staff member who came into contact with the second patient in the ER.“Screening stations are at all entry points of our hospitals to ensure that all patients and visitors are screened following the Health Ministry's guidelines. There are also triage areas outside of the ER to manage suspected cases of Covid-19,” he said.
