KualaLumpur Polis membuka satu lagi kertas siasatan berhubung penyebaran berita tidak sahih mengenai jangkitan koronavirus baharu (Covid-19) di media sosial, menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan setakat ini adalah 23 kes.

Timbalan Pengarah Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Bukit Aman Datuk Mohd Roze Shaari berkata, kertas siasatan baharu itu membabitkan satu kes di Tumpat, Kelantan.

“Setakat ini, tiga kes sudah dituduh di mahkamah masing-masing di Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu dan Sabah,” katanya kepada Bernama. Beliau menasihatkan orang ramai untuk tidak berkongsi sebarang kenyataan atau artikel tidak sahih berkaitan jangkitan Covid-19. Bermula semalam Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia mengisytiharkan Covid-19 sebagai nama rasmi bagi wabak koronavirus baharu.
