KUCHING: The number of Covid-19 cases in Sarawak increased to 437 cases in epidemiological week 29 from 367 cases the previous week.
State Health Department director Dr Ooi Choo Huck said deaths due to Covid-19 also rose to eight from July 1 to 25, compared to three in June.
Dr Ooi urged the public to continue taking precautions against Covid-19, including wearing masks indoors and in crowded places, maintaining physical distancing and getting tested if experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat and breathing difficulties.
