Penganalisis berkata, memandangkan ringgit susut lebih 2% berbanding dolar AS setakat tahun ini, kenaikan unit negara maju itu sejak akhir-akhir ini akan menjejaskan lagi prestasi mata wang serantau dalam tempoh terdekat.
Ketua strategi pasaran AxiCorp Stephen Innes berkata, jumlah kes Covid-19 Korea Selatan yang disahkan meningkat lebih 3 kali ganda dalam tempoh 2 hari dan negara tersebut kini dilihat sebagai lokasi panas bagi penularan virus itu. Agensi berita Xinhua melaporkan hari ini bahawa Korea Selatan mencatat lebih 52 kes Covid-19 yang disahkan, sekali gus menjadikan 156 orang dijangkiti virus itu setakat ini.
