PETALING JAYA: More than 80% of the new Covid-19 cases reported Saturday (Aug 21) were either not vaccinated or had incomplete vaccinations, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
There were 22,262 new cases today, bringing Malaysia's cumulative number of Covid-19 cases to 1,535,286.
“It is hoped that this will reduce Covid-19 infections in the country, especially cases in categories 3 to 5,” Dr Noor Hisham said in a statement Saturday.
