SLOWER global growth due to the Covid-19 outbreak is expected to continue dampening the local economy in the first quarter of this year . RAM Ratings Services Bhd said the rapid spread of the virus and its impact on discretionary services and industries such as tourism, retail, and food and beverages will dampen the services sector, which is the largest sectoral component of the gross domestic product .
