CORONAVIRUS | The 35-year-old Malaysian is a Singapore Work Pass holder and has no recent travel history to China, says ministry.

Singapore's Ministry of Health today confirmed four more positive cases of Covid-19 infection in the republic, one of them involving a Malaysian woman.In a statement, MOH said the 35-year-old Malaysian is a Singapore Work Pass holder and had no recent travel history to China.

The ministry said the Malaysian, who is currently warded in an isolation room at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases , reported onset of symptoms on Feb 12. She was sent to the NCID two days later and subsequent test results confirmed Covid-19 infection on the same day. To date, MOH said that 29 cases have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals.
