Minggu lalu, Liga Profesional Bolasepak Perancis mengumumkan untuk menyambung Ligue 1 dan Ligue 2 bermula 17 Jun dengan UEFA meletakkan 2 Ogos sebagai tarikh untuk liga domestik ditamatkan.

Bagaimanapun, Philippe hari ini mengumumkan tiada acara sukan dibenarkan berlangsung sebelum September meskipun dianjurkan secara tertutup, sebagai sebahagian daripada langkah seterusnya selepas fasa perintah berkurung yang berakhir 11 Mei ini.Akhbar L'Equipe melaporkan aksi liga sudah pun diputuskan untuk dibatalkan menjelang pengumuman rasmi.

Philippe dalam kenyataannya kemudian mengesahkannya apabila berkata:"Aksi sukan tidak boleh berlangsung sebelum September. Musim 2019-2020 tidak boleh bersambung semula." LFP akan mengadakan perbincangan pada bulan depan untuk memutuskan bagaimana kedudukan liga musim ini akan ditentukan selain pasukan manakah yang akan dinaikkan serta disingkirkan.

Mereka juga akan memutuskan pasukan manakah yang akan diberi peluang beraksi di Liga Juara-Juara dan adakah PSG yang kini selesa dengan kelebihan 12 mata di tangga teratas, akan diumumkan sebagai juara liga.
