Covid-19: Kuala Langat construction site outbreak largest among 36 new clusters

PUTRAJAYA: A Covid-19 outbreak at a Kuala Langat construction site is the largest out of 36 new clusters announced by the Health Ministry on Monday (Aug 9).

Located at Persiaran Mahkota in Tanjung Dua Belas, the cluster had at least 119 new Covid-19 cases to date.

The Bukit Mertajam detention centre had 114 confirmed cases after 333 inmates underwent a targeted screening exercise. Located at Jalan Pinang in Taman Lian Seng, Kluang, the cluster had 19 confirmed cases after 49 individuals underwent Covid-19 screening.
