JOHOR BARU: Johoreans have been advised to remain calm and not panic in the wake of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases.
Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar also urged the public to adhere to the advice and instructions of the Health Ministry.
"I call upon all Johoreans to band together to curb the spread of this virus," he said in a statement on his official Facebook page Monday . Sultan Ibrahim also urged the people to avoid crowded places as well as high-risk locations such as hospitals and large-scale events. "I also take this opportunity to urge all those who attended the recent 'Jord Qudama dan Ulama Malaysia' event at Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling to have themselves checked at the nearest clinics if they are displaying symptoms of the virus.
