GEORGE TOWN: The intensive care units of Penang hospitals treating critical Covid-19 patients has hit full capacity, says Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow .
"The state Health Department has informed me that there are now more than 1,000 cases in Penang which need close monitoring and management by district hospitals," he said in a statement on Tuesday . "Strict adherence to the standard operating procedure is of utmost importance in reducing the spread of the virus," he added.
