JOHOR BARU: The Health Ministry Training Institute here has been turned into a temporary hospital to handle Covid-19 cases.
“Starting April 1, the state Health Department has started operating a temporary hospital at the training institute in Kempas to treat those who have mild Covid-19 symptoms, ” said Johor health and environment committee chairman R. Vidyananthan.
“This institution is able to house 600 patients, ” he said in his daily update via Facebook on Thursday . He added that in Johor, the state Health Department has reported a total of 19 new Covid-19 cases as at Wednesday .Article type: free
