PETALING JAYA: Electronic digital trackers will be fitted for those undergoing home quarantine in a pilot project by the Health Ministry, says Greater Klang Valley Task Force chairman Dr Chong Chee Kheong.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday , Dr Chong said the electronic digital trackers would be fitted on 1,000 foreigners who arrived in the country and will be undergoing home quarantine.
He also said the pilot project will be outsourced to a private company and is aimed at helping the ministry monitor those from abroad, and people who have come into close contact with Covid-19 patients.
